Richard is currently the head of a London based private equity company and the group managing director of a business media company specialising in UK Small & Medium sized business. He is also a keynote speaker, investor, business mentor, board member of a number of new-start companies.
The business media publishing and research company which Richard heads up is Capital Business Media which has offices in London & New York.
Richard was named by The Observer newspaper & The Courvoisier Future 500 as ‘someone to watch’ in their top 100 business people.
He was also very honoured to be given Freedom of the City of London in May 2011 and a Fellowship to the RSA in July 2011.
Richard is Vice Chairman of the Parish Councillor for Chigwell in Essex and Chairman of the areas Planning Committee and Parish Plan Committee looking at taking Chigwell forward over the next 5 years and beyond.
Richard is also a past Governor of West Hatch High School and also Chigwell Row Infant School in Chigwell, Essex and chair of the Davenant Foundation Business Partnership scheme.
When he isn’t doing all of that Richard can be found on a Saturday sitting on the edge of his seat in the West Upper stand at White Hart Lane cheering on Tottenham Hotspur.
